Hotel Hubertus - Obergesteln

The hotel offers a breathtaking view and the rooms are comfortable with just the right bed. the staff is kind and even upgraded our room for our honeymoon stay. the facilities are great, including an amazing sauna and spa. the location is perfect for those who enjoy trekking, biking, or simply driving to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area. the breakfast is delicious and the hotel provides all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

The restaurant could be improved in terms of upselling tactics and misguiding customers in their food choices.

Although our room was comfortable, we were disappointed to find out our room didn't have a private bathroom. , the mattress was a bit hard for our taste, and we woke up with sore backs.

Our romantic escape turned out to be an amazing experience. The first thing we enjoyed was the wonderful bed. We could not believe the quality of the mattress, pillows, and sheets. Additionally, the wellness facilities were fantastic. Not only were they clean, but they also offered a great range of relaxing treatments. As for the location, it was key for us. We were able to start different ski tours from the hotel, and the cross country trail was just outside the door.

The restaurant left a lot to be desired. We were disappointed to find out that we needed to make reservations from the beginning of our stay. However, the worst aspect was the owner's business practices. They tried to charge us double the price we had agreed to pay. We were extremely upset that we were not informed of the change and only found out at checkout. It spoiled our overall experience.
